Roys World

I am largely self taught, but have had the good fortune to have been mentored by some extremely talented machinists, welders, mechanics  and other fine people.

During my automotive repair career I have literally worked on technology spanning a century. From designing and installing “juice brakes” on a 1904 Buick to solving driveability issues with late model  vehicles. My machining and deep engine experience ranges from pouring and machining  Babbit bearings for antique engines including Rolls Royce and Packard to complete engine rebuilds on vehicles the likes of Porche, Austin Healy, Maserati, Ferrari, Mercedes, and BMW  not to mention numerous other nameplates.

My practical experience to date culminates in my 5th bearing design and ignition solutions.
